So, while trying to better myself, I recently came across These two economists used 'meta rules' to drop 120 pounds and I'm trying to establish my personal list of meta rules.
The article list 5 meta rules: 1. Weigh yourself every morning. This will force you to be conscious of how your eating habits are affecting your weight. 2. Never waste calories on food you don’t love. 3. Have two light meals and one square meal per day. 4. If you know you’re going to eat a large meal later, skip a meal earlier in the day. 5. Become calorie conscious. You may even want to keep a food ledger and count your calories.
What meta rules have you adopted? What rules did you initially adopt, only to find that it needed to be revised?
