I have been tracking on and off with My Fitness Pal for over a year now. I lost weight, but I always fell off the wagon before long, binged and would stop tracking. I saw someone on here talking about Lose It, I had never even considered that there was another app to try. I love it. I have been using it for 5 and half weeks now and I’m losing weight consistently. The thing I think I like the most about it (apart from the motivational messages) is calculates your calories over the week. For instance I had a bad day on Tuesday and over ate by 600 calories, for the rest of the week I under ate slightly each day so that I’m finishing the week today in the green again. Using my fitness pal if I over ate one day I would basically feel like a failure, by making myself feel bad I was more likely to over eat again the next day, and the next day. I felt like I was in a constant battle with myself. With Lose It, I take each day and each week as it comes. I even finished some weeks in the red, but that’s okay cause I’ll do my best to finish next week in the green.
