For everyone worried about these “eating holidays” coming up. Just wanted to throw this out there.
I started keto on the day before thanksgiving 2017. I had been researching and decided on that Tuesday, that I would start that Wednesday. I ate all the meats and veggies I wanted and just stayed away from the Mac and cheese and the deserts at the family functions. That jump started my process.
I stayed super strict keto (under 25g of carbs a day) and also did 16/8 intermittent fasting and played basketball 3/4 times a week, but I was already playing the same amount of Bball but not losing anything before. In 3 months, I went from 285 to 230!!! (25g/day for me made sense as I was 6’9” 285 pounds)
I say all of that to say, YOU CAN DO IT!!!! It’s easy to cheat at these holiday events, but it’s also NOT hard to NOT cheat too.
