NSV: Stopped eating my favourite cheat meal once it reached 1200cal!

Hey Loseit!

M/37/183cm/SW:132.7kg/GW:87.5/CW:125.9.

I'd like to share my first NSV with you. I haven't posted until I had chalked one up as a motivational thing.

Diet of 1500 calories per day, with one cheat day of 2000 calories. Lightly active work 30hrs a week on my feet so don't worry too much about exercise. Assuming I burn about 300 calories at work just walking around and light lifting, probably more.

I'm down almost 7kg so far out of 45 I want to lose. I'm loving the new lifestyle and making good food choices.

But I also love fried chicken.

Today was my fortnight's cheat day, and my weigh in day, and my partner suggested KFC as dinner. I dreaded this because I thought I'd binge.

But I didn't! I stopped at my 1200. In fact, a little bit before. And completely naturally. I was full and had enough and didn't need any more.

I stayed under my 2000 calories for the day. I had my cheat meal, and I genuinely felt full from half of what I used to eat.

For the first time in ages, I get to go to bed after eating junk food not thinking about how I stuffed up and will start my diet again tomorrow.

So I can still love fried chicken. Occasionally, and in relatively sane portions.

Next week's cheat meal is pork roast, crackle and hasselback potatoes. Let's see if I can do it again!
