I had always been very athletic, played waterpolo 4 days a week and went to the gym the same amount of days until I was 20. At uni I stopped exercising and drinking quite a lot.
After university I exercised not very regularly, and the last 3 years I almost did nothing, and in August reached my top weight of 83kg / 183lbs.
I went back to my diet consisting of lots of protein, good fats and veggies while exercising a lot. During september and october I paid very close attention to the amount of calories I was eating, I would constantly avoid certain foods I liked, my only vice was wine.
Now I was checking what I had been eating for these past 2 weeks in November, when I wasn't logging anything. And to my surprise I noticed that I had continued the high protein, good fats and lots of veggies food pattern. It was as if I ate and drank good on autopilot.
This gives me hope for the future, that I can reach my goal weight and maintain that.
