A three-day streak of eating absolutely the worst I could. Eating even when I no longer wanted to, my stomach would feel like it was going to burst. The food that I jammed down my throat would be crawling to make its way back out of my mouth but I'd force it down, and eat more. I have been doing this with any food that I found even remotely appealing. But then I met an old friend for lunch. It hasn't even been that long since I'd seen her, my journey started 4 months ago but I only took it seriously and started consistently logging 3 months ago. I'd last seen her about late July.
"Hey, you look really great, by the way.", she said as our waiter left the table with my order of 2 different pasta bowls...... and some mozzarella cheese sticks for appetizers, of course.
"Thanks, its been really hard but I've still got some to go so I gotta tough it out.", something about saying that didn't feel right.
I didn't finish either of those dishes. I ate some, boxed it and took it home.
