I'm down 8 pounds and feeling good.

Hey all, so up to this year I've been a pretty sedentary person. I'd be in my room studying language all day, and never leave my room. Learning language is fun, but I gained a ton of weight.

I've always been overweight, all my life I can never remember being a normal weight or healthy BMI, but always overweight, never obese. Until my last year of high school. Shit hit the fan when I hit 301 lbs. (I'm about 6'4")

I felt like shit and knew I had to make a change but I just felt like I couldn't. I decided to reinvent myself in University and start exercising more. I joined the volleyball club, I made the school curling team, all was looking great. Until I realised I can't outrun my fork.

Tired of feeling sorry for myself I decided to cut my calories down to about 2000 a day, and try to do some activity everyday, including 25 mins of high intensity cardio every second day or so.

Well, I guess it worked, I weighed myself at the gym and I'm down to 282lbs! Still super far from my goal of 200, but baby steps.
