Friend told me to do this, 80 pounds down, 17 years old

Hiya!

Timeline, for those interested

I'm 17 years old and lost 80 pounds, as my title says.

At my heaviest around 15-16 years old I peaked out at 270 pounds, at about 6'2". At that time I was dealing with very bad mental health issues stemming from my abusive mother, and was coping with eating. I would eat literally everything and anything. I still do that now, but at that time if I was doing something I would always snack or eat a meal while doing the task at hand. My best guess is I was consuming about 3500 calories a day judging by how I ate.

With my diet when I decided I wanted to lose weight I bounced around different diets. I settled on Keto for a while, and then I decided to cut out Keto and do intermittent fasting as I found out it wasn't much of an addition to how I already ate, as I don't eat breakfast due to it making me feel sick.

I also introduced walking a crap ton this summer, walking to and from my school, as well as work. At the minimum it comes out to about 6 kilometers both ways combined, at the maximum about 10 kilometers.

All of that combined has landed me at 190 pounds, and I have since grown to 6'4". Pretty happy where I have ended up. :)

Edit: Just realized I should clarify with the title; normally I don't really do this kind of thing. My friend showed me an old picture and he was like "dude, you should do a timeline", so I did.
