I'm so happy to say that I've lost 50 lbs since I started this journey at the beginning of July thanks to CICO and this sub! I owe a lot to this community and it's members (shout out to my two challenge teams-Rivendell and Waluigi) and just wanted to thank you all for the positivity and support you offer.
I have 100+ lbs to lose before I reach my ultimate goal, but I hope to reach Two-topia by January 1, 2019. It feels like an attainable goal, but I'm really concerned for the biggest temptation of the year for me - the holidays. I have Thanksgiving covered (hosting my own dinner and with health-centered dishes) but I'll be flying home for two weeks during Christmas and New Years. I won't have access to my normal tools and routines in addition to the fact that most of my family works in restaurants and will absolutely want to feed me their delicious, outrageously caloric food. Any tips, tricks, or suggestions for getting through all the temptation will be greatly appreciated.
