Down 16 pounds, it’s not much but I’m super happy about it

First of all, I’m not a native english speaker, sorry for anything I write wrongfully in here.

I would like to start saying something that is a bit controversial: I wasn’t as hard as I thought, but you might have a different experience. I never felt comfortable with my weight. I have to lie to everyone, saying that I hate pools and beaches, when in fact I love them. And I never blamed anyone but myself about it. I was (and still am) addicted to sugar. It was impossible for me to spend a day away from sugar, chocolate, candy, anything sweet after having something salty.
So I started slowly, cut the sugar off my coffee because I found a brand of sweetener that was very convincing. Then, switched my daily chocolate intake for a lollipop, because it lasts for long enough to trick my mind into thinking it was enough sugar.

For breakfast, swapped the regular bread for whole-wheat, and the butter for white cheese/eggs.

For lunch, I stopped having chicken parma with mashed potatoes and started eating grilled chicken. Not a huge change, but It helped me a lot.

For the afternoon snack, something made with whole-wheat and chicken, I don’t know the name in english but It looks like a bagel.

For dinner, omelette with tomatoes, ham and cheese, or a crêpe made with a super thin flour (sprinkle?), or a chicken sandwich.

For the late night snack, I started having tea. I hate tea. But made it bearable adding lemon and cinnamon.

This diet did not have a huge impact in my mood or anything like that, but I can assure you that I made progress. In 3 months, I’m down 16lbs, and feeling a lot more confident and happy overall.

Here’s my progress since August: http://puu.sh/C4khy/b5cee932f5.jpg edit: imgur link for the progress https://imgur.com/a/1xnMVOr
