Hi f/17/5’4/150 lbs
2 years ago I wanted to lose weight so I started eating barely anything at 172 lbs. I ended up losing some weight (17 lbs) but developed my binge eating habit (I prefer not to call it disorder since I never went to see if I was officially diagnosed. I kept restricting after binging until I actually searched online and found out that binging is caused by the restriction. I stopped caring about my food and gained back about 11 lbs but at least my binge eating stopped. I tried losing weight after a bit but noticed my binge eating habits and food obsession starting again so I stopped. In the beginning of this year I decided to go to a nutritionist. So far I’ve lost 14 lbs in 2 months and when I started to restrict more for myself (nutritionist didn’t tell me I just wanted to lose weight ‘faster’) I started binging again. I’m so sick of myself but I went to the nutritionist again and she advised me to eat whatever I want for a day. Anything, as long as I know I’m the one that wants to eat it. So tomorrow is going to be a new day. Hopefully I won’t binge and I’m able to let go of this useless habit. I will be editing so I can keep myself accountable.
