I’ve lost 16kg or 35lb in 1 year. My life has drastically improved and I’m so so happy that I’ve changed my lifestyle for the better. From sleeping in till the late afternoon, beginning to snore at 19 years old, to being constantly moody and upset, there are endless things which I now realise my previous weight affected.
My goal now for the next year is to become a bodybuilder and compete in 2020 and I can’t wait for what 2019 brings.
I lost my weight through CICO and IIFYM. I calculated my TDEE and -500 from that and I began to lose weight.
At the beginning of the year I would only train at the gym maybe 3 times a week? If not 2 times a week. As I became more invested/interested I started going more and more and now I go 6 times a week and include cardio maybe 4 times a week. I found that the weight training helped with shaping up my body while the cardio was the major thing that helped me to lose the fat, coupled with a caloric deficit of course.
